Lisboa nesta época do ano enche-se de luz e cor e gente.
Fica bonita Lisboa vestida de Natal!
No Arco da Rua Augusta há projecções de luz para crianças e crescidos se encantarem. Mesmo com chuva, ninguém arreda pé!
Por todas as ruas há as iluminações de Natal e edifícios, lojas, restaurantes, que brilham de várias cores.
No Rossio a Árvore de Natal lá está com estrelas e luzes e gente que mal deixam aproximar, crianças que correm para ver o Pai Natal e tirar uma fotografia com ele garantindo que se portaram muito bem durante o ano.
Mais em baixo, na Praça do Município, um mercado de Natal faz a alegria das crianças que correm a deixar uma cartinha no marco do correio do Pai Natal e fazem bicha para entrar na casa do Natal.
E toda a praça está iluminada com pequenas luzes brancas, fazendo de conta que estamos rodeados de neve como no Pólo Norte.
Por entre as janelas abertas da Câmara vislumbra-se um bocadinho dos tectos trabalhados e ficamos com vontade de ir lá espreitar, mas não podemos!
Foi bom passear por Lisboa á noite, ver a outra margem brilhando, engalanada pela Ponte 25 de Abril e o Cristo Rei abraçando Lisboa.

Lisbon this time of year is filled with light and colour and people.
Lisbon is beautiful dressed for Christmas!
On the Arc of Augusta Street there are light projections to enchant children and grown up. Even with rain, nobody moves!
On every street there are the Christmas lights and buildings, shops, restaurants, shining in various colours.
There is the Christmas tree in Rossio with stars and lights and crowd, difficult to approach. Children run to see Santa Claus and take a picture with him ensuring that they behaved very well during the year.
Lower down, in the Municipio Square, a Christmas market makes the joy of children running to leave a little letter in Santa’s post box and queuing to enter the house of Christmas.
The entire square is lit with tiny white lights, pretending that we are surrounded by snow like the North Pole.
Through the open windows of the Câmara House it is possible to see a little of the coffered ceilings and we wish to go to take a peek, but we cannot!
It was nice to walk through Lisbon at night, see the other side of the river shining adorned by the 25th of April Bridge and Christ the King embracing Lisbon.
